A Compact Kitchen with Big Impact
The Homewood St kitchen began as a confined space—half-open, half-closed, and visually disconnected from the living area. Our client envisioned a brighter, more integrated home experience. To bring that vision to life, we removed the non-load-bearing walls and completely restructured the space.
Though modest in size at just 10' x 11', the new layout is a masterclass in smart, efficient design. After upgrading the electrical and plumbing systems, we rebuilt the kitchen to maximize both form and function. Warm walnut veneer cabinetry anchors the space with natural richness, while clean white quartz countertops introduce lightness and clarity.
Every element is built-in and purposeful: from the Sub-Zero refrigerator and compact appliances to the sculptural brass faucet positioned at the island. The island itself plays a central role—doubling as a prep area and social hub—offering seamless functionality without overwhelming the footprint.
Soft lighting, refined finishes, and minimalist detailing give this kitchen a calm, welcoming presence—proof that even small spaces can be beautifully expansive in feel.
